The Adidas 1609er Retro Running Shoes series was known as re-introduction of the original adidas miller. The number 1609 represents the number of metres in a mile. It is originally called the ‘Miler’ because it was the built to be the fastest shoe across a mile! Originally launched in 1979 in its originals blue and yellow colourway as a lightweight training shoe, the outsole wrapping around the toe and heel supports the running motion and the wide heel ensures stability. This is the new colorways in 2010 which features a nylon and suede upper.
